Higher Rock Christian Church exists to glorify God by building lives of enduring commitment to Christ, proclaiming the truth of God's Word, emphasizing the unreserved worship of God, teaching a life of personal holiness and complete submission to the authority of Scriptures, focusing on the priority of the local church, penetrating the world with the Gospel, contending for the faith, and contributing to the advancement of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ by the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Bob Amigo

Senior Pastor

Pastor Bob Amigo has been the Senior Pastor of Higher Rock Christian Church since its establishment in 1996. He started the church at his home in Cubao, Quezon City with members of his family, a few friends in the ministry, and an overhead projector held together by masking tape. His experience in serving God as pastor and teacher spans more than 30 years.

He is also the current editor-in-chief of FaithWalk, a magazine containing original articles and condensed sections of carefully chosen Christian literature. FaithWalk is published by the Communion of Christian Ministries (CCM), an association of independent churches in the Philippines, where Pastor Bob is a board member.

He is married to Sukie Amigo and has been gifted by God with four children, Ruthie, Dale, Janna, and Jason. Most of their children are serving God in church.

He envisions Higher Rock members to become “men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel” (1 Thess. 2:4).
