Word and Witness

In his time, Paul walked displaying Christ despite opposition. He fought the good fight despite persecution.

Fast forward now, the Christian who unashamedly displays Christ lives a life that is fraught with danger and inconvenience, just like Paul's. Such life is not a walk in the park. It was never meant to be.

But why? Well, Christians don't belong here --- they are citizens of a heavenly country and pilgrims in this world. Often regarded as narrow-minded people, they continue to walk the narrow road to glory and are just passing through.

In a postmodern world where absolute claims get flak and intolerance is bashed, how do we live out the supremacy of the Word of God? How do we become effective witnesses by our faith and walk?

WORD & WITNESS features stories of bold faith making U-turns and counter-flows to escape the dead-end of a postmodern culture where man raises his fists against God.

Passion for the Word

Aug 21 to 27 -- Colossians 3:16 (NASB 1977) Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
